Affordable Summer Pregnancy Style

Affordable Summer Pregnancy Style

affordable summer pregnancy style

Affordable summer pregnancy style has been literally so much fun for me this summer and I’m having a ball dressing up my growing bump. I’m loving this polka dot dress from Boohoo.com because I can literally dress it up or down however I feel like. I could look at getting a strapless bra to make it easier to move around in as the straps can be quite painful after a while!

I am in love with the colour but even more so, the price tag. It was a total bargain at just £22 and fits so comfortably over my bump. The wrap over style with an empire waist makes it very flattering to my shape and I felt like a diva strutting my stuff in it.

Second Trimester

I am now in my second trimester and only just realising that although I have been very active on youtube and instagram it has been like ghost city over here on the blog. I do apologise for my absence, I am as usual trying and sometimes failing to be a master multitasker. Trying to juggle everything becomes a bit of a task at times and I did drop the ball a bit on the blogging.

I am well and truly over the dreaded first trimester and actually starting to really enjoy being pregnant, which is a total first for me. This is my second time around this rodeo and I think this time round I am approaching it with a calmer and more positive attitude.

Unexpected Joys

My son is also very excited to be a big brother and it’s such a joy to see him communicate with the bump and talk about the future. I should also mention that I have now deemed this my lucky dress as I managed to meet my son’s chef idol Jamie Oliver, have him cook for us and also star in an episode of his tv show. Not bad for a day’s work, right?

Moving forward

Consistency has not always been a strong point of mine but moving forward I would really like to document this journey and share it with you. I am looking forward to changing my own mindset around pregnancy and birth. It can be a positive experience and I am on a quest to prove that to myself and maybe you?

I share a lot more of this journey on social media but I will endeavour to write more in the near future.

Thats about it for now, beautiful people. Until next time, love the life you’re living!

Amanda xoxo

You look DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in that dress. A bump to envy! You’re definitely glowing. Hope you’re feeling that way as much as you look. (I know looks can be deceiving when pregnant, as my little one was a 9 lb chunka on my tiny 5″4″ frame, and boy did I feel it!)
