The 5 quotes that changed my life….seriously!! This is no joke my friends. About 6 years ago, I was at what I would call my darkest hour to date. I was depressed and alone with nothing to live for, (or so I thought) and my love for literature was my only fortress.

I have always LOVED books, from when I was a little girl, so I guess it’s no wonder that I turned to reading when I had nothing else going for me. Ok, ok, I know this is starting to sound like a pity party for one, so let’s get to the good stuff, shall we?

I have collected these quotes from several of my favourite books, and I hope you find some inspiration in them as well. View Post

Reflecting and reminiscing today and I realized how supported and divinely guarded we are ALL the time, even more so at the times we feel alone. Looking back at the last 6 years, I barely recognize the girl I used to be.

That girl (not woman), was sooo concerned about appearances, so easily swayed by other people’s opinions and too concerned about pleasing everyone at the expense of her own happiness. She had no idea of who she was or who she could become. I remember being constantly unhappy, always judging/comparing myself to other people which of cos made me even more unhappy as I always seemed to fall short. View Post

I absolutely adore the Spring/Summer collections that are out at the moment, and I have been lucky enough to get to model some of the them. Today I got to wear this gorgeous outfit from Miss Selfridge, and I’m loving it.

So yesterday I wrote my first blog post for AmandaMillie and I realised, it was the perfect opportunity to also start the 30 Day Blog Challenge over at Sarke Media. This means I’ll be writing and posting a blog post everyday for the next 30 days eek!!! Today is officially Day 2.

Why am I putting myself through this? You may ask, (or not), well I’m going to tell you anyway.

1. Accountability! Accountabilty! Accountability! I have always found that the best motivation (for me at least), is having someone to hold me accountable. It really helps me to commit and see it through. It’s almost like, something in my brain switches on and m inner people pleaser refuses to let a one down. View Post
